Winter Storm Warning issued February 12 at 12:16PM EST expiring February 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI


* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 11
inches are expected, except 4 to 6 inches from Arnheim to L'anse
near Keweenaw Bay. Locally higher accumulation of 12 to 16
inches is possible over the higher terrain from the Huron
Mountains through Ishpeming to Negaunee and Skandia. The
heaviest snow, of more than an inch per hour at times, will
occur through this evening.

* WHERE...Baraga and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will become very difficult. Heavy
snow and patchy blowing snow will significantly reduce
visibility at times. The hazardous conditions will impact the
evening commute.


A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
