Winter Storm Warning issued February 12 at 2:53AM CST expiring February 13 at 12:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

Alert

A winter storm will impact the Northland this morning into this
evening. Northwest Wisconsin could receive between 5 to 10 inches
of snowfall, with some isolated heavier amounts possible over
Price county, with 3 to 7 inches possible over portions of
northeast Minnesota, particularly along the North Shore, where
lake enhanced snowfall could lead to accumulations up to 7 inches
for areas near Two Harbors and Silver Bay. This system will lead
to difficult driving conditions for the Tuesday commutes in both
the morning and evening.
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
10 inches expected with locally higher amounts possible,
especially in Price county.

* WHERE...Sawyer, Price, Iron, Washburn, Bayfield and Ashland
Counties.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST Tuesday night. Snow will begin early
Tuesday morning with very heavy snowfall rates Tuesday
morning, ending Tuesday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
and evening commute.

Instructions

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
