Flood Watch issued February 11 at 6:27PM PST expiring February 14 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Hanford CA


The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of central California, including the following
areas, East Central San Joaquin Valley, Southeastern San
Joaquin Valley, Southwestern San Joaquin Valley, and West
Central San Joaquin Valley.

* From late Tuesday night through Thursday morning

* Light to moderate rain will begin late Tuesday night or
Wednesday morning. Heavy rain will overspread the area Wednesday
afternoon and persist through Thursday morning. The ground is
saturated after several storms over the past few weeks. Nuisance
street flooding is possible across parts of the San Joaquin
Valley that are prone to flooding.


A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
