Wind Advisory issued February 11 at 2:14PM PST expiring February 13 at 4:00PM PST by NWS Sacramento CAAlert
An incoming weather system will bring breezy southerly winds
Wednesday morning and afternoon. Winds will be 25 to 35 mph with
gusts 40-45 mph, locally up to 50 mph in the northern San Joaquin
Valley. Be sure to secure loose outdoor objects.
The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 4 AM to 4 PM PST Wednesday.
* TIMING...Wednesday morning and afternoon
* WINDS...South 25 to 35 mph gusting 40-45 mph, locally up to 50
mph in the northern San Joaquin Valley.
* IMPACTS...Tree branches down, possible local power outages,
difficult driving conditions.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
