Heat Advisory issued July 12 at 3:15PM CDT expiring July 12 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS La Crosse WI

Alert

Heat and humidity will continue across the region through early
this evening. Latest observations report heat indices of 95 to
105 this afternoon. These heat indices and along with temperatures
from the upper 80s to mid 90s are expected through early this
evening.

If you have outdoor plans through early this evening, be sure to
drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks from the heat.
* TEMPERATURE...Heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Heat-related illness can occur in as little as 30
minutes with exposure to the heat.

Instructions

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.
