Heat Advisory issued July 12 at 10:55AM CDT expiring July 12 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS La Crosse WI


Heat and humidity will build across the region this afternoon.
Clouds are thinning across the area and mostly sunny skies are
expected this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the 80s and
lower to middle 90s with heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees.

If you have outdoor plans later today, be sure to drink plenty of
water and take frequent breaks from the heat.
* TEMPERATURE...Heat indices of 95 to 105 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Heat-related illness can occur in as little as 30
minutes with exposure to the heat.


A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
