Lake Wind Advisory issued April 16 at 4:17AM EDT expiring April 16 at 9:00PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

Alert

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 9 PM EDT
this evening. A Freeze Warning has also been issued. This Freeze
Warning is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EDT Tuesday.

* West winds will become sustained near 20 mph with gusts of up to
30 to 35 mph from late this morning through mid this evening.

* Mariners may experience difficult boating conditions today.

* Temperatures will fall to and below freezing late this evening,
before warming back above freezing by late Tuesday morning.

* Crops and sensitive vegetation may suffer damage if left
unprotected this evening through Tuesday morning.

Instructions

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
