The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of northern Connecticut and Massachusetts, including
the following areas, in northern Connecticut, Hartford and
Tolland. In Massachusetts, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire,
Northern Middlesex, and Worcester.

* Until 4 AM EDT Tuesday

* Numerous Showers and thunderstorms with areas of torrential
rainfall will impact the region during this evening and into
tonight. The time period of greatest concern is thru 10 pm this
evening. While the potential for localized flash flooding exists
across the entire watch area, the highest risk appears to be in
the vicinity of I-91 and west of I-91.

hour are possible. This will bring the potential for localized
flash flooding. Pockets of significant urban flooding are also
a concern.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
